Victoria Stevens

As well as her role as History and RE Subject Leader for North Wiltshire SCITT, Victoria is also the NQT coordinator, member of Wider SLT and a history teacher at The Ridgeway School and Sixth form College in Wroughton, Swindon, Having taught in the area for eleven years, leading a department for six years, and previously leading the Swindon Humanities SCITT, she has a range of experience with ITT and newly qualified teachers, as well as the subject areas of History and RE. 

Victoria studied History at The University of Bristol, before travelling around the world, returning to complete her PGCE, when she also had the opportunity to teach in the Gambia in West Africa.
Aside from her passion for teaching, and developing new teachers entering the profession, she likes to travel and be as active as possible, usually involving a rugby ball. She was also involved with the RFU in their national ‘Rose and Poppy’ First World War commemoration campaign, creating resources for schools across the country to support the commemorative films the RFU produced.
