Having grown up in the Stroud area and attending the local boy’s grammar school, Keith studied Chemistry with Drugs Design at The University of Hull and then went on to complete a PhD in Novel Liquid crystals. After undertaking a Post Doc position He continued working in research for Astra Zenica but found his interests lay more in communicating his passion for his subject. Since training in Swansea he has been a teacher of Chemistry for the last 12 years in several local secondary schools with the last 4 being at RWBA. He is an outstanding classroom practitioner with an interest in questioning and using it to facilitate students higher level thinking skills through all key stage 3-5. He has been a key stage coordinator and NQT mentor in previous roles and a SCITT student mentor for the last two years.
